Several years ago, I had a vivid dream about a white wolf. I awakened from the dream feeling excited about what I had seen and wanting to know more about its meaning. As I looked and wrote and thought and meditated, and as time went by, the white wolf became a symbol of the path of my life, my search for more of me. And as always in my searching and finding, I have wanted to share the results, in my writing, in my personal life, with my clients in my office, in workshops or presentations, and now with you who have found this forum.

I am Dale Midgette Smith, a writer and workshop leader and a psychotherapist in private practice for almost thirty years in Winter Park, Florida, counseling with people who want to find more satisfying ways to live their lives.

I am married and raised a son and a daughter who are now adults I enjoy and admire. I am also privileged to have four wonderful grandchildren, three boys and a brand new girl, who bring great pleasure to my life. I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, singing, dabbling with art, and road trips and making discoveries with my husband. And as my oldest grandson said he told his teacher, “my grandmother loves flowers!” I have also loved cooking for family and friends, but only when it’s cooking season.

WhiteWolfMusings.com is about us: how we can and do find the best of ourselves; how we learn to let go of whatever parts of us that no longer fit us, and grow the version of us that we want to have living our lives; how we learn to trust and allow our dreams to come to the forefront as each of us learns to follow the life path that is truly ours.

I want to welcome you to this website, as I welcome people into my home or office. I hope you feel comfortable here, and your visit will be enjoyable for you, pleasant and peaceful, maybe fun and encouraging and thought-provoking, and certainly a place that you want to visit again.
